How to use Genorthix TPS.

One word: consistency.  Position your hand around the Genorthix TPS and press with the ball of the instrument (the end point of the curvature part of the cane) on your trigger point for 7-10 seconds and suppress  the area. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times per day for 2 weeks in a row and then as needed.

Medical lingo: trigger points are highly irritated spots in the muscles (typically neck and lower back) , that are associated with palpable masses in  muscle fibers. The palpable mass is the result of small contraction knots in muscle tissue. They are an extremely common cause of pain and are frequently misdiagnosed it occurs in many chronic pain patients such as fibromyalgia. Some reports suggesting as far as 75% of chronic pain is associated with trigger points.

Trigger points are extremely painful on compression and often induce referred pain, tenderness and motor dysfunction in predictable patterns.

Trigger points may also manifest as tension headache, tinnitus, temporomandibular joint pain, decreased range of motion in the legs, and low back pain.

The concept is simple:

Just like anything else in medicine such as when the doctor tells you "take a pill 3 times a day for one week" the consistency is a must for trigger points to get better. But in reality  nobody can get a treatment 3 times a day.

Now with Genorthix TPS, (Trigger Point Suppressor) which is a device designed to suppress the trigger points, it is possible for one to to be treated  several times a day even while attending work and regular daily chores. By putting pressure for 7-12 seconds and suppressing these areas you may increase circulation to the area and improving your condition.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • See your physician to find  your trigger point  and feel for areas of MPT (maximum point of Tenderness), then look for other areas of MPT specially the back of the neck, other areas such as under your shoulder blade are popular areas for these trigger points to linger on.
  • Keep the ball touching your skin at all time: This will give you a better control and leverage and will not allow Genorthix TPS to slip off.

  • Begin with light pressure and then gradually build up to deeper massages.

  • While applying pressure move the ball within a 2-inch diameter circle.

  • Put the pressure directly on the trigger point and press for 7-12 seconds.

  • For the buttocks and lower back hold both ends of Genorthix TPS and with steady pressure pull it up and down.

  • For the lower back  you may follow the same direction as the neck .
  • Do not allow children to play with this device.
